"As above, so below;
as within, so without."
- Hermetic axiom,
The Emerald Tablet
Therapy is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore the deeper roots of your emotional experience rather than merely managing surface-level symptoms. Together, we examine how past experiences, attachment patterns, family systems, and survival responses may still be shaping your present life. Through increased self-awareness, emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and intentional reflection, meaningful change can emerge from the inside out—supporting greater self-trust, inner stability, and authentic connection.

At the heart of all healing work are two essential human needs: safety and connection. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients from all backgrounds feel emotionally safe, respected, and supported in exploring their inner world. My approach is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in cultural humility, with the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, self-awareness, and healing.

Therapy is interactive. In our work together, you can expect that I will support you with reflective listening, compassionate inquiry, psychoeducation, observations, reflections, and insights intended to deepen understanding and illuminate what may exist beneath the surface. My goal is not only to understand your symptoms, but to understand you as a whole person—your history, relationships, emotional landscape, and the experiences that have shaped your life and current struggles.

The process of therapy involves developing awareness, emotional insight, and the capacity to make more intentional and aligned choices. While this work is often gradual and emotionally challenging, it can lead to greater authenticity, emotional freedom, self-trust, and a deeper connection to oneself and others.
Therapeutic Services & Professional Ethos
Individual Intensive
Individual intensives are for those who need to accomplish more in-depth work than is normally accessible within a regular 55-minute session. Here we have the luxury of more time to explore and hold space for all that may be coming up for you. The goal is to increase insight and understanding in one powerful session.Â
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a supportive, facilitated space where individuals come together to explore shared experiences, deepen self-understanding, and develop healthier ways of relating. Through connection with others and professional guidance, members often find they are not alone in their struggles. Dialogue, reflection, and interpersonal feedback foster insight, emotional growth, and new relational patterns.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides a dedicated one-on-one space that nurtures deeper self-understanding, emotional healing, and personal growth. Within a supportive and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship, individuals are invited to explore life’s challenges, process difficult emotions, and cultivate healthier patterns of coping, insight, and self-awareness.
My work is trauma-informed and depth-oriented. I believe many emotional and behavioral symptoms develop as adaptive responses to painful or overwhelming experiences. The mind and nervous system work hard to protect us from emotional pain, often through coping mechanisms that once served a purpose but may no longer support long-term well-being. Over time, unresolved experiences can manifest through anxiety, depression, emotional disconnection, relationship difficulties, self-defeating behaviors, or persistent feelings of emptiness, shame, or overwhelm.

Early attachment experiences and family dynamics often create foundational templates for how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together, we explore how these patterns may continue to influence present-day relationships, emotional responses, self-worth, and coping strategies. Through increased insight and awareness, clients often begin to better understand the unmet emotional needs, protective adaptations, and survival strategies underlying their current behaviors and struggles.

For clients processing trauma or distressing life experiences, I like to creatively incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) whenever appropriate. EMDR is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that supports the adaptive processing and integration of unresolved experiences.
